Mission

We at Christ the Vine seek to grow in faith, knowledge, and love of Jesus Christ; to grow also in love for one another and for our neighbors near and far.  We will eagerly share the Gospel with others, regularly invite them to worship with us and warmly welcome newcomers to our congregation.  We will develop a clearer recognition of our own sinfulness that leads us to an ever-deepening recognition of God’s overwhelming love, mercy and forgiveness toward us.  As a result, we will forgive willingly and grow in humility, gratitude, kindness, and obedience to God.  

Lord God, You so tend the vine You planted that now it extends its branches even to the farthest shore. Keep us in Your Son as branches on the vine, that, rooted firmly in Your love, we may testify before the whole world to Your great power working everywhere through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
